A teenage boy was left unconscious in the street by a gang of boys in the Plungington area.

Police were called to reports a boy had been threatened and had his bike taken from him.

The incident happened around 7.30pm on the corner of Ripon Street and Brook Street on Monday.

A Carrera vengence grey medium frame bike was taken.

Police say a 13 year old boy from Preston has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody.
