A teenager has been treated for a stab wound after an incident in a Fulwood park.
The 15-year-old victim was in the children’s play area with a group of friends off Cadley Causeway around 9pm on Bank Holiday Monday 25 May.
He was approached by another teenager and stabbed in the thigh with a small knife.
The victim was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he was treated for a small puncture wound to his thigh. He has left hospital following treatment.
Preston Police say they’ve arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of wound with intent and he is currently being questioned.
DC 3169 Justin Singleton of Preston CID said: “This was a nasty attack on a young man and so I urge anyone with any information at all please to come forward.
“We are particularly keen to talk anyone who was in the park or near Cadley Causeway at the time of the incident who may have seen it.”
