Rockprest have revealed their line-up for their first ever event in Preston.

The tribute act music festival will come to the city on July 4 and 5.

Tickets are free although there is a £2.90 booking fee.

VIP tickets are also available and go on sale at the same time as the free tickets.

They cost £10 and will be available here at 9am on Thursday, April 2.

Music fans in Preston have been hoping for a festival to come to the city for some time.

Hopes were raised last year with the conception of the Prestival idea but the festival was cancelled due to maintenance work on Avenham Park.

Tribute acts playing at the festival include the brilliantly named Reet Hot Chili Peppers and Stiff Bizkit (as opposed to Limp Bizkit).
