The build-up and preparation for the roller derby team’s first bout in the British Championship did not disappoint, as Preston Roller Girls were up 89-49 at half time against the Harrogate side.

They finished 209-137 and took to twitter to share their celebrations. The success wasn’t without injury however, as one of the Preston Roller Girls fractured her sternum but was able to continue playing.
