NPAS Warton, based just to the West of the city, posted these pictures on Twitter giving you a chance to see the city and surrounding area.

However we might not be seeing much more of them as plans to axe 10 police air bases across the country are currently being discussed, with Warton being one of them.

It would leave NPAS Barton, in Salford, as the nearest air base.
