A two-hour runway show runs from 12noon with models unveiling the latest spring fashions.
It follows the Autumn event which attracted hundreds of fashion fans to the shopping centre.
General manager Andrew Stringer said: “Preston Fashion LIVE, now in its second year, brings the city’s finest retailers together for a spectacular pop-up fashion show.
“Following in the successful footsteps of our seasonal events and annual Student Shop-In, Preston Fashion LIVE is a testament to how retailers can work together to create a fashion-focused showcase, which we are sure will become a key event in the city calendar.”
Preston fashion retailer and owner of Mary and Milly in Guildhall Street, Poppy Waters, is among those showcasing their outfits.
She said: “We are a vibrant, independent brand and this event gives us a great platform to express our point of difference.
“Our designs feature original items which can be teamed with accessories giving shoppers the opportunity to dress to impress or simply wear casually.
“We’ve seen first-hand how bespoke events can really boost trade and so it’s pleasing to see the city’s businesses pull together to show what we have to offer. Further events such as this will help drive people to explore the side streets adding to Preston’s shopping experience.”
Bethany McGlinn of Miss Selfridge, situated in St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “We are always keen to pledge support to events that drive awareness of our offer to shoppers.
“Fashion shows can vary in quality but the team at St George’s has a fantastic reputation for putting on events which really draw the crowds so we are obviously pleased to be involved.”
