Plungington Tavern to be converted into student flats

Another Preston pub is set to be turned into flats.


The Plungington Tavern on the corner of Plungington Road and Ripon Street is due to be converted by Homeplan4u.

It is to be converted into two large student flats in what is an already densley populated student area.

Plans show the flats would have a total of 10 bedrooms across the two floors.

Full plans are available to view on the city council website.

Anyone wishing to comment on the plans can do so via the city council website or by emailing by quoting reference 06/2015/0222 by Wednesday 22 April.
