A Preston girl battling brain cancer has enjoyed a Princess-themed third birthday party.

Pippa Cole was surrounded by friends, family and a famous face too as Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent joined the fun.

Last month Pippa’s family revealed how after fighting a second brain tumour doctors had revealed the whole of Pippa’s spine was lined with tumours.

She had been due to fly to American to receive pioneering Proton Beam Theraphy but this has now been delayed.

But there was plenty of fun and games at the birthday party for Pippa, with plenty of songs from the Disney film Frozen.

The charity was organised by the When You Wish Upon A Star charity.

Pippa arrived in a special carriage and performed a royal wave to her waiting friends.

A statement released by Pippa’s parents Michelle and Scott Cole said: “The party was amazing. We are extremely grateful for everything they did for us on Sunday.

“Pippa had such an amazing day.”
