They Eat Culture will celebrate Record Store Day with a 7” Social evening at the New Continental.

The event held on Saturday April 18 encourages people to bring in seven inch vinyl records, new and old to “explore the joy” of vinyl records in honour of the day.

Preston Weekender advert

Daniel Ryan, a local DJ will be playing the records from a variety of genres that people bring in, which promises a “truly eclectic listening experience.”

Doors open at 8pm with free entry all night.

They Eat Culture regularly support and host events at the New Continental, describing themselves as “a direct creative intervention into the cultural life of Preston and Lancashire.”
