The Lancashire Market will be held this Saturday.
Exotic animals, live music and entertainment will all be coming to Friargate starting at 10am.
Three different areas will be created as part of the market with an area dedicated to food and drink, another to crafts and one to a children’s market.
BID spokesman Mark Whittle said: “Since it launched five years ago, the Lancashire Market brought in excess of 250,000 to Friargate to enjoy the finest food and drink, crafts and gifts and entertainment on offer.
“Yet again we have worked hard to improve the offer which keeps on bringing people back to the city centre.
“They will notice this Lancashire Market is smaller in size but higher in quality and we believed that is what people are looking for.”
