Thousands turned out for the annual Easter Egg rolling event on Preston’s Avenham and Miller Parks this Bank Holiday,  carrying on a tradition that has endured for over a hundred years.

As well as the traditional rolling of chocolate and hard-boiled eggs there was musical entertainment and magical shows, street entertainers and fairground attractions, which all helped to keep the crowds happy.
