Police are appealing for information after repeated attempts to break into an ATM machine at a bank in Fulwood.
CCTV pictures have been released of the people wanted in connection as well as the van understood to have been used by the gang.
The incident took place at the HSBC situated in Forest Way, just off Caxton Road between 12.30am and 1.50am on Wednesday 4 March.
The gang approached the security camera at the front of the building and turned it so it pointed towards the floor.

They fled around 1.50am when a van arrived and collected them.
The van is described as white with sliding doors on both sides, double doors at the rear and a blacked out panel on the passenger side. The van was driven away from the scene towards the ASDA end of caxton Road.
The three offenders all wore balaclavas concealing their faces. One of them wore a hooded jacket with a light coloured band around the front of the hood and another wore green and yellow trainers.
