Friargate will be closed to traffic on Saturday, April 4.

This will be to make way for the Lancashire Market which will be held on the day.

The road is expected to be closed from approximately 3am-8pm to allow for the stalls to be set up and taken down.

If you’re heading to the Lancashire Market or into the city centre, please account the road closures into your plans.

The market will be held on a weekend that will also include egg-rolling at Avenham Park.

Easter weekend is huge for the city and this weekend promises to be no exception.
