Goats cheese sandwich at Franky and Benny’s
An American-themed restaurant chain has confirmed it will be opening at Deepdale Shopping Park and is looking to be open before Christmas.

More than 40 jobs are due to be created by the opening at Unit FC4.
David Salmon, deputy managing director, said. “We are really excited to be opening our newest restaurant in the area. The location is perfect for us and we are sure we have enough to offer that will keep the guests coming back for more.’

An application to demolish the current Frankie and Benny’s at Capitol Centre in Walton-le-Dale was recently approved, although it is not known whether this will go ahead as it hinges on Vue Cinema’s future at the site.
Frankie and Benny’s, owned by The Restaurant Group, has applied to serve alcohol at its new restaurant from 10am to midnight seven days a week.
