They Eat Culture are introducing virtual virtuoso guitarist Jon Gomm to The Continental, as a part of their festival of events held there.

Along with guests Jason Singh and Jaydev Mistry, Jon will use one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, basslines and twist melodies all at once.

He will also incorporate songwriting and his soulful singing into the performance, and pins his influences on to alternative group, Radiohead and Robert Johnson.

Jason Singh will be beatboxing, and Jaydev Mistry will incorporate vocals, guitar and technology into Indian inspired improvised music.

Jon has already received high profile approval, after Stephen Fry tweeted a yotuube video of Jon, along with the words “Wow.”

The video, “Passionflower” went viral, and several television performances later has led to sell out shows, and now a debut at The Continental.

The performance will be held on April 5, with seated tickets expected to sell out before the day. Tickets cost £15 and can be bought in advance by clicking here.
