Preston Beer Festival makes a return this weekend, for its 22nd year.
The festival, which will be held at St. Walburge’s, aims to raise money for the ongoing restoration of the church and church hall.
The event will feature live music, a raffle, a limited edition St. Walburge’s Beer Festival t-shirt sale, and of course a huge selection of beers and ciders to enjoy.
There will be a host of opportunities to get involved in to donate to the cause, including sponsoring a barrel of beer. More information on this can be found here.
The festival begins tomorrow night at 7pm, with admission costing £3. Also on Thursday, the Sponsors Evening will be taking place where beers will be judged by a specially selected panel, and include a presentation of the winning beer. Sponsors of this year’s festival include, Alpha Pest Control in Penwortham, and Able Skip Hire Ltd in Leyland.
On Saturday, the festival will open for the entire day starting at 12pm, and free entry can be obtained by donating or by having a festival glass.
