Plant Donation Scheme to run for a second year

Donated plants will go towards Avenham Community Gardens

Preston Environmental Forum is hosting a plant donation scheme for the second year.

After last year’s successes, the team are looking for specific weed-free donations from left over plants in locals’ gardens.

Donations can be made on three dates through April, at different locations, starting on April 2 between 12pm and 2pm at Avenham Community Gardens.

Other dates and times are April 5 at Ashton Park Pavilion between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm and on April 11 at Ribbleton Library between 11am and 12pm.

The donated plants will be used in a new community project at Avenham Community Gardens, and a full list of wanted plants can be found below:
