This month They Eat Culture host a Fairtrade film screening at The New Continental.

The award winning documentary, A Small Act (2010), tells the story of a young Kenyan whose life drastically changes when a stranger sponsors him to get an education.

The film is about the power of generosity and the global effect it can have.

Director Jennifer Arnold has won awards and enjoyed great success with it at numerous film festivals and screenings around the world.

They Eat Culture regularly host film-screenings with a twist, with recent showings of Tron and Drifters being particularly innovative.

The screening will be on Wednesday, February 25.

Tickets are £5 and available from here.
