Rachel McDonald missing: Police appeal to find Preston teenager last seen roller skating in Wigan

Preston Police are appealing for help to find a missing 12 year old girl.

Updated on Sunday 2.30pm: Police say Rachel is found safe and well in the Merseyside area

Rachel McDonald was last seen on Friday around 8pm.

She had been rolling skating in Wigan at the rink in Swan Meadow Road.

She is described as white, around 5’4″, medium build, with straight cropped black hair, a pale complexion, brown eyes and speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Rachel was last seen wearing a yellow Lacoste polo shirt, black skinny jeans, a black and purple baseball cap and blue or black coloured trainers. She also had a pair of roller skates with her.

PC John Wiggans of Preston Police said: “Rachel is only 12 years old and we are growing increasingly concerned about her whereabouts. I would urge anyone who has seen her or knows where she may be to get in touch. Similarly Rachel if you see this appeal let us know you are safe and well.”

Police believe she has links to Wigan, Preston, Liverpool and North Wales.

Anyone with information should contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log number 1283 of February 13th.
