POLICE in Preston are appealing for information about a 43-year-old homeless man who has been missing since January.

Adrian Wane – known as Ady – was last seen on Lancaster Road North on Tuesday 20 January. He is a known rough sleeper and has not been seen since.

Sgt Wendy Fitzgerald from Preston Police said: β€œIt has been over a month now since Ady was last seen and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
β€œHe is known within the homeless community and no one from that community has seen him for weeks.
β€œI would ask anyone who has seen him to contact us.”

Ady is described as white, stocky build with collar length brown hair and an untidy beard. He usually wears a beanie hat and a dark ski type coat.Β He has links to Preston and Chorley and is a regular visitor to soup kitchens in the Preston area.
