Pippa remains in hospital as doctor’s prepare to operate again

A family whose daughter is fighting brain cancer have been dealt a devastating set back.

Pippa Cole is in hospital after having brain surgery but doctor’s have found another tumour.

The three-year-old remains in hospital and is preparing for yet another operation.

More than £11,000 has been raised so far to fly Pippa to the United States for Proton Beam Therapy – but this will now have to be delayed.

Posting on Facebook the family said: “On Pippa’s latest MRI they have found another tumour, she will be having brain surgery again this week. The tumour is on the front of the brain stem and it’s really tricky for them to get to. Proton/radiotherapy will be delayed by about 3 weeks.

“As you can imagine as a family this is devastating, we don’t want our little girl having to go through surgery again but we have no choice and we will continue to fight this xxxx”

You can donate via the Go Fund Me page set up by Pippa’s family
