Pippa Cole recovering well at home as United States trip nears

A Preston toddler who is battling a brain tumour has been recovering at home.

Pippa Cole, 3, was allowed back home after undergoing an operation to remove a second brain tumour.

Pippa’s mother Michelle posted on Facebook to say: “We are back home now from hospital. Pippa seems to be recovering really well.”

She is due back into hospital on Wednesday for lumber puncture to see if the cancer has spread to her spinal fluid.

More than £12,000 has been raised to help send Pippa to the United States for pioneering Proton Beam Theraphy.

If the Wednesday checks go well she is due to fly out the around Thursday 26 February.
