Agent Mr A Panchal says the owners Mr and Mrs Bangliwale have been struggling to rent out the space due to its size.

Major investment is being proposed to bring the store fronts up to a good standard, as the owners state it has a “negative impact on the surrounding neighbourhood”.

Two one bedroom flats will be created above the store.

The consultation period has now closed on the store plan and planning officers will make a decision on whether to allow it to go ahead.
