Can you assist police with their enquiries in identifying two men involved in a robbery?
POLICE investigating a robbery at a Preston off licence have released CCTV images of two men who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. It happened at around 9.20pm on Sunday 25 January at Booze Stop on Watkin Lane in Lostock Hall.
Two men went into the shop wearing hooded tops with their faces covered. One of the men threatened the shop assistant with what was thought to be a small hand gun and the other a hammer. They demanded that he open the till and hand over cash, which he did.
The pair then made off with around £400 and it is thought that they headed towards the train station on foot.
One of the men is described as of a slim build wearing a black hooded tracksuit with white draw string toggles, a white zip down the front of the top and dark Adidas trainers.
The second man is described as slim and was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit, with three lighter coloured stripes down the arms, possibly Adidas, and a grey coloured zip and grey cuffs. He was also wearing black Nike gloves, dark trainers and was carrying a cloth drawstring bag with a large Adidas logo on the front.
