Matthew Cogley’s solo EP has been re-released online to raise money to buy instruments for children at his last school.

Matt Cogley passed away in the early hours of New Year’s Day 2015.

He was an integral part of the Preston musical community as a part of the band Failsafe.

He was loved and well-respected by many, with posts of tribute immediately uploaded to Facebook following the sad news.

Money raised from sales of the EP will also go towards a memorial for the musician.

His brother, Martin, has also released the details of the funeral for those who wish to attend.

It will be held at St Joseph’s Church in Chorley on January 16 at 10am followed by a service at Pleasington Crematorium at 11:30am.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
