Smash on M6 leaves car crumpled as driver nicked for no licence and illegal tyres

Motorway police have released pictures of a smashed car on the M6.
The driver was caught without a licence and having illegal tyres near junction 31 of the motorway.
Conditions were poor when the driver lost control near Samlesbury.
Motorway police were on the scene and had stern words for the driver who has had the car impounded.
