Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Fulwood.
AdvertisementTwo men approached a house in Hollins Grove on Friday around 3pm pretending to be a gutter repair service.
Lancashire Police say while one of the men distracted the victim at the rear of his house another man entered the house and made off with £150 in cash and a Sony laptop.
A statement from the police said: “We are treating this seriously as the man has been targeted in his own home.
“The van used appears quite distinctive so someone locally should know of its whereabouts. We urge anyone with any information at all please to come forward.”
They are both described as white; the first is early forties with a thick set build, 5ft 8ins, unshaven with a chinstrap beard wearing a blue and black lumberjack jacket and black flying hat with flaps.
The second is man is thought to be in his early twenties, 6ft tall, thin build with dark brown hair gelled to one side wearing a black ‘Duck and Cover’ jacket.
The vehicle they drove is a white pick-up style with a cab front and a meshed cage on the rear with the words ‘GSS’ on the cab door.
