Nichol will have his regular feature Fact or Fiction at 11.40am and i joined on Wednesdays and Thursdays by Millie Lavelle.

She said: “It’s going to be great to be part of the mornings team on Preston FM, although being a Mum then 11am kind of feels like an afternoon.”

From 1pm the station moves into the hands of Preston FM old-timers Dave Chambers and Gary Cunliffe and their Afternoon Tea show. They play classic tracks and chart hits.

DJ Tim Melia takes over from 3pm to 4pm with The Old Skool Mix before LJ takes over for The Big Drive Home from 4pm to 7pm.
