It was that time of year again when young and old put on their Santa and reindeer outfits and set off to run for the St Catherine’s charity event.
Despite the very cold and awfully inclement weather everyone was keen to run the dash, even the little ones could not wait to have a go and it is fair to say that all concerned were, in true spirit of the occasion, very enthusiastic.
The first event included all the little ones (and willing parents too) participating in the Reindeer Dash from the starting point to the end of the driveway and back. We are pleased to report that they all made it back safe and sound, even if a little out of breath.
The main event of the Santa Dash was, as usual, a mixture of red and blue Santa’s who, as far as we know, all completed the circuit around the St Catherine’s grounds, through to Lostock Hall and back again.
Everyone enjoyed the dash events and it is no surprise that by the end of it all, there were some rather soggy reindeer’s and Santa’s.
