Bakery chain Greggs has pumped £300,000 into refurbishing its Preston stores.

Mayor of Preston councillor Nick Pomfret officially re-opened the new look Greggs on Market Square, Orchard Street this week.
Raymond Reynolds, retail director for Greggs, said: “We are delighted to be able to invest in Preston City Centre and provide our valued customers with a modern and comfortable upgrade to the shops. This project underlines our long-term commitment to the area and I’m sure will be enjoyed by existing and new customers alike.”
Mark Whittle from Preston Business Improvement District said: “Preston is a great place to do business; we’re delighted that Greggs have elected to invest in their city centre store to ensure they remain committed to exceeding customer expectations.
“Our city centre has the perfect mix of independent businesses and recognised national brands like Greggs; we hope to see them serving the people of Preston for decades to come.”
