Update: Lancashire Police say Elaine has been found safe and well.
AdvertisementPolice have issued an urgent appeal to find a woman missing from her home in Fulwood.
Elaine Mansfield, 55, was last seen at 7pm on Sunday withdrawing cash at Royal Preston Hospital.
She had left her home on Castle Mount, Fulwood at 6pm.
She is described as white, thin build with straight shoulder-length dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing loose fitting grey/brown trousers and a purple rain jacket. She may have been carrying a handbag.
Sgt Paul McLernon, of Preston Police, said: “We are growing concerned about Elaine and I would appeal to anyone who sees anyone matching her description to get in touch with us. I would also appeal to Elaine herself to contact us if she sees this appeal to let us know she is safe.
“I would particularly appeal to any taxi drivers who may have picked up Elaine from the hospital at around 7pm last night.”
