Illustrator and calligrapher Robin Utracik was commissioned to produce a 27th Guild Book.
The book captures the spirit and moments of the Guild for all of history to see.
Utracik of Northern Studios took his inspiration from the 1952 Guild book.
It includes a list of councillors and burgesses as well as illustrations of Preston landmarks and Guild events.
There is also a watercolour portrait of the 2012 Guild Mayor councillor Carl Crompton.
Mayor of Preston, Councillor Nick Pomfret, said: “Many of the previous Guild Books are beautiful works of art in their own right, and this record of the 2012 Guild is no exception.
“Robin has done a fantastic job and I’m sure this will bring back many wonderful memories of what was a brilliant occasion in Preston’s recent history.”
The Guild Book is on display in the Harris Museum and Art Gallery for a limited time before it is placed in the Lancashire Archive alongside the other 26 Guild Books.
