Thingumajig at Preston Harris Library will present a timeless tale of war and friendship at 2pm on Sunday November 16.

The show uses evocative puppets, an interactive stage and live music to tell the story of forgotten boxes in an attic.

Inside, a woman discovers the story of her grandfather, a World War One veteran, and an unexpected encounter with a special dog.

The show helps mark the centenary of World War One.

The performance is suitable for everyone aged 10 and above. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children and concessions.

For more information and to book tickets phone 01772 533040. Alternatively, people can just turn up on the day.
