Santa is making his first visit to St George’s Shopping Centre on Saturday

A Preston shopping centre has unveiled plans for its Santa’s grotto.

St George’s Shopping Centre sees Santa arrive at 2pm on Saturday for the unveiling of his new look grotto.

Before this a children’s craft workshop is on from 10am and free to attend.

Marketing manager, Alanna Dent, commented: “We wanted to give our shoppers a gift this year by creating a stress-free shopping experience. Free parking, convenient opening times and free services to keep the kids entertained will no doubt be welcomed.

“While all our Christmas events are free of charge, we are encouraging people to dig deep and make a charitable donation to Galloway’s.”
