Preston Roller Girls

Preston Roller Girls will take on Blackpool Roller Derby Team on Saturday, December 6.

The bout will see the famous Preston vs Blackpool rivalry carried over into new levels.

And we doubt other sports will have managed to match the intensity and competitiveness that will be on display here.

Lou Taylor, of PRG, said: “It’s doubly exciting due to the historic local sports rivalry plus with it being the first time we’ve officially met on track in a bout.

“We have a good relationship with BRD though so whatever the result we’ll be sharing cake, hugs & the after-party after the final whistle!”

Tickets are available for £4.50 online until December 5, with them costing £5 on the door.

The event will be held at Preston College and there will even be a host of gift stalls for those who want to get some Christmas shopping in.
