Volunteers who want to see a park in Lea improved are holding a fundraising event.

Jubilee Action Group have been given £200 by Preston North West county councillor Bill Winlow.

The money is be used to run the event which is “to promote the development of Jubilee Park Lea with improved amenities and facilities for local people to enjoy.

“This even will bring people together socially and raise awareness of the health and wellbeing benefits the project will produce.”

The event is due to take place in early December.
