Action Records have marked the 15th anniversary of Muse’s in-store performance by sharing images of the gig.

Muse played a low-key performance of tracks to promote the release of their 1999 single Muscle Museum – taken from their debut album Showbiz.

Eight years later, the band would become the first act to first play and then sell out the new Wembley Stadium.

Our own Daniele Baron is currently making a documentary about the famous record store.

Action Records is still going strong in 2014, providing vinyl for all of Lancashire since as early as 1979.

Over the years it has hosted live performances from Dirty Pretty Things, Bastille, We Are Scientists and more.

Check out these pictures of Muse, who will release their seventh album in 2015.
