More than 500 residents and wellwishers turned out on the streets of Cottam to see a family turn on their Christmas Lights.

The Tipping family have turned their switch on into an annual event to raise cash for charity.

At 6pm on Sunday the family flicked the switch on the dazzling display.

Food vans were parked up on the street during temporary road closures as the fun began.
