On Tuesday 18 November, St. Catherine’s Hospice opened their new Mill cafe and community centre in the hospice grounds. A gathering of people which included three mayors from Preston, Leyland and Chorley and a couple of TV personalities, Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh and TV football pundit Mark Lawrenson, were present for the grand opening which was launched by the Chairman of the Hospice Trustees, Cliff Hughes MBE.
Hospice chief executive Stephen Greenhalgh was also on hand to explain to the guests about how the cafe came to be and the roots of the building it occupies.
The following photos and video are from the opening of the Mill Cafe.
