A taste of Christmas came to Preston’s Flag Market on Saturday as the Coca Cola truck made a stop off.

The Coke advert now well attached as a signal of Christmas when it appears on our screens parked up from 1pm to 9pm.

Thousands of Prestonians queued throughout the day for a free can of coke and a chance to pose for a selfie infront of the big red truck.

Police were called during Saturday afternoon when a group of protesters appeared calling on shoppers to boycott Coca Cola products.

Preston City Council had put out extra bins and also fenced off the Cenotaph after the Flag Market was left in a rubbish-strewn state when the Coca Cola truck visited last year.
