A show detailing what life was like for a Manchester Regiment in the First World War comes to Preston.

Bantams is to be performed at The Continental on Thursday 30 October.

The show, written by Rob Johnston, recounts real events with characters inspired by the stories of Tameside’s soldiers.

Set in 1915 the stories are those of men who could have stayed out of World War One.

Tickets are £8, or £6 for concessions, and doors are 8pm and can be bought online via Skiddle.
