The former Happy Shopper store

A former newsagents in Ribbleton is to become new housing.

What used to be Yousaf General Store on the corner of Cemetery Road and Skeffington Road has plans lodged.

Owner Mr S Razvi has applied for permission to convert it into a new home.

The building would be converted into one private dwelling.

The Happy Shopper store closed its doors in January this year.

The full plans can be viewed on the Preston City Council website.

Anyone can comment online about the application or email devcon@preston.gov.uk quoting reference 06/2014/0770 by Saturday 1 November.
