The Preston City Trampoline Club has been recognised for its work to get all Prestonians involved in trampolining.
AdvertisementAt the British Gymnastics Awards 2014 the club were given the Inclusive Club Award.
Colin and Angela, part of the team who run the club, said: “We are over the moon that the hard work and dedication of our team at the club has been recognised all the way to the top of British Gymnastics out of all the clubs in the whole country. This is a phenomenal success and we will use this to spread the word about our inclusive disability gymnastics I’M IN sessions to give even more people the opportunity to participate in quality gymnastics whatever their ability or disability.”
The club runs I’m IN sessions which encourage those with disabilities to try out trampolining.
Angela and Colin from the club attended the awards ceremony at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, meeting members o the GB gymnastics team in the process.
