Mountain bike stolen from Broadgate area

Laurence has posted a picture of the bike to Twitter to try and get it back

Police are appealing for information to trace a specialised mountain bike.

The bike was taken from Connaught Road in the Broadgate area between 5pm and 7pm on Sunday.

Cyclist Laurence Browning has taken to Twitter to try and get his bike back.

He says it is a silver specialised rockhopper, avid juicy three disc brakes with white speed pedals.

He said: “I bought it in Bristol and it has a sticker from that shop Blackboy Cycles which is probably quite distinctive.”

Anyone with information on the bikes whereabouts is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101.
