Overnight closures of the M6 Junction 32 are continuing this weekend as part of a £7 million roadworks scheme.

The Highways Agency have advised motorists to allow extra time as the M55 eastbound to the M6 is to be shut.

It will shut from 9pm to 6am overnight from Friday 10 October into Saturday 11 October.

For vehicles wishing to go north on the M6 during the closure there will be a fully signed diversion route in place. Traffic should leave the M55 at Junction 1 and proceed north along the A6 to its junction with the M6 junction 33.

The M6 northbound between Junction 31 and 32 is to be closed overnight from 10pm on Friday 10 October to 6am on Saturday 11 October.

The roadworks are due to be completed during November.
