Hosted by UCLan, the Preston City Council backed Breeze cycling event took place today Sunday 12 October and photographer, Paul Melling was on hand to capture the action. British Cycling’s Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun.
The Breeze Challenge was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Preston, Nick and Barbara Pomret. Former road racing professional cyclist, Emma Pooley was also there at the event for a signing and photo opportunity for all the ladies taking part in the event.

The Breeze non competitive cycling event proved to be extremely popular today and all we can say is “well done ladies, you did us proud”.
