An empty bakery in Preston is due to be converted into a new takeaway.
Rav Dhesi has applied to open a new Indian takeaway in Ingol on the site of what was Rumbles Bakery.
The site on Village Green Lane, which has stood empty since July last year, is close to the Tanterton Community Centre.
Plans from architects Ben Jurin explain the change of use planning application.
They write: “It has been shown that the proposed use is acceptable in terms of current planning policy.
“It is considered that the investment in the premises and the resulting aesthetic gains in bringing a vacant premises back into use.”
