Helen’s Story follows the letters of six women Pic: Tom Middleton
A drama inspired by the First World War is coming to the Harris Library on Friday.
My Dearest Girls – Helen’s Story is the work of writer and solo performer Francesca Millican-Slater.
The 30-minute drama is based on the real letters sent between six young Shropshire women between 1917 to 1920.
The letters reveal what life was like towards the end of the war and also what it was like once it had past.
Performances take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Tickets are £2 and available on the day from the library. The show is suitable for everyone aged 10 and over.
