A Polish store in the city centre has applied for an alcohol licence.
Bacowka Polish Shop on Church Street wants to be able to sell alcohol until 11pm every night.
It has applied to sell booze from 7am to 11pm on Mondays to Saturdays and from 10am to 11pm on Sundays.
The shop was inspected in August by Preston City Council’s food hygiene inspectors who rated it as a 2 – improvement necessary.
It was given a poor rating for structural compliance, the layout and cleanliness of the store.
Anyone wishing to make a comment should email licensing@preston.gov.uk by Sunday 26 October.
