A Preston nightclub has secured two of the biggest names in oldschool dance music ahead of its re-opening.
AdvertisementCameo and Vinyl, currently known as New York New York or Squires, is undergoing refurbishment.
Rock FM’s Mark Freejack who runs the Sunday night Classic Cuts show is joining the venue for a Friday night line-up.
A monthly Retro event featuring father and son duo Paul and Ben Taylor is also planned.
General manager Dave Brown said: “These are two of the biggest names of Oldskool music in the North West and the collaboration of the two is going to put Friday nights in Preston back on the map. It also demonstrates our commitment to attracting top talent to the club and delivering great nights out.”
The club has also announced the first Classic Friday on Friday 19 September is to feature special guest Baby D, famous for the 1994 number one Let Me Be Your Fantasy.
Owners of the club, Luminar Group, are ploughing £250,000 into a revamp of the venue ahead of its relaunch on Saturday 13 September.
